Hannover Marketing und Tourism and LeineHertz 106einhalb conclude cooperation agreement for trade fair radio
Visitors and guests who are in Hannover for international trade fairs will in future be able to obtain information even faster and better: the radio station “LeineHertz 106einhalb”, which has been broadcasting on 106.5 MHz FM since June, is joining with Hannover Marketing and Tourism (HMTG) to provide a colourful and varied programme of news in two languages and of weather and traffic information during fairs, together with tips on events and tourist attractions.
The launch of the new trade fair radio is set for 8 November 2009, to coincide with the opening of AGRITECHNICA, the biggest exhibition of agricultural machinery and technology in the world. The latest reports on every aspect of the fair and on how to get there and get away again, together with news from the Hannover Region, will alternate with such things as international music from different countries. The programme will be broadcast from the city studio in Hildesheimer Strasse every day during the fair’s opening hours. On the exhibition grounds themselves, the “LeineHertz 106.5 roving reporter” will be out and about reporting on new trends and developments at AGRITECHNICA.
The trade fair radio programme can be received throughout Hannover Region and is aimed not only at trade fair guests, but at anyone in Hannover who is interested. Hannover’s hotels have been informed, so that they can draw their guests’ attention to the new service.
