The IAA Commercial Vehicles in Hanover is organized by the VDA and is setting new records for the number of exhibitors, the number of countries represented and the amount of exhibition space occupied. In 2008, the number of exhibitors was 2,084 (a total of 1,188 came from abroad) and the exhibition space covered an area of 275,000 sq m. This impressively reinforces the IAA’s worldwide leading position among trade fairs showcasing mobility.
