The ‘Eisberg Online’ project

‘Der Eisberg’ was founded in December 2004 by Hannover University students as an independent newspaper project. Today, editors and writers from the history, sociology, politics, languages and economics departments work together on this students’ online magazine.

The magazine’s purpose is to clarify and explain the political and social processes at the university. We see it as our responsibility to present events, issues and opinions in all their variety, to research their background and comment on their implications.

Another concern is to report campus cultural and artistic life, and also to offer our readers a communications platform and promote dialogue across faculty borders.
