Night of the Proms 2021

The 27th edition of the spectacular Show on 2 December at the ZAG Arena is once again combining rock with classical music, pop with funk and trainers with smart shoes.

Orchester — Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra

At the Night Of The Proms classical music meets pop, aria meets chart hit, suit meets leather jacket, stilettos meet chucks and Tchaikovsky meets pop. While the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra and the choir Fine Fleur under the direction of Brazilian conductor Alexandra Arriche are just now intoning the classics of Brahms, Handel, Verdi or Bach, the next moment they accompany the legends of rock and pop history on their greatest hits together with the rock band NOTP-Backbone.

Unique audiovisual happening

Under the motto "Classic meets Pop", the organizers prove that classical music also works outside of typical classical conventions - presented in a form that is as unusual as it is unique. Supported by a spectacular light show and large projections, the three-hour show becomes an audiovisual pre-Christmas happening.
