The Expo Whale, with windows all around, is a project by the Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Hannover for EXPO 2000. Under its curved roof it offers two event levels with space for up to 1,000 people. The Expo Whale is an ideal backdrop for galas, congresses, product presentations, trade-show parties, or in-house trade fairs.
The rooms in the whale's belly are flooded with light and were converted into an attractive event and communication centre after the World Exhibition. An auditorium with seating for 220, an amphitheatre for 350, as well as an open-plan reception area approx. 350m² in size, offer a versatile range of possibilities. The unusual architecture and view of the lake make this location unique. The patio by the lake and a large-size area outside enhance the options possible in this symbol of the EXPO 2000 World Exposition.
