Manuel Graf

From 16 February to 14 April, the Kunstverein Hannover will be staging an overview exhibition of the artist's multifaceted work at the interface of digital and analog reality, artifice and naturalness.

Manuel Graf studied at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf from 1999 to 2005 and taught from 2011 as a visiting professor at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Since 2014 he has held a teaching position at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. In Hanover, not only Graf's previous work will be presented, but also his most recent works, which deal with the technique of 3D animation and architectural rendering. In recent years, these technical achievements have led to a reassessment of the aesthetic sovereignty of interpretation, which the artist will transfer into the analogue age in interaction with the unique premises of the Kunstverein Hannover.
