Paper Art

From the 27th of January to the 3rd of March, the multifaceted paper theme will be the center of attention at the Handwerksform in Hannover: from the book cover to the accessory, from the piece of jewelery to the free object.

Paper is incredibly versatile: it can be light, delicate and transparent, but also robust, hard and opaque. Even in the digital age, paper has lost none of its fascination. As a material on which to write, as an exquisitely designed book cover, as a luminous object or vessel, as a piece of jewellery, accessory or free object. The exhibition shows the entire spectrum of paper art. 31 applied artists and designers from Germany, the Netherlands and Austria are represented.
