More than 40 years on stage: Chris Norman

Chris Norman discovered music as a toddler: at the age of three he joined his parents on stage for the first time, at seven he had his first guitar, and at twelve the singer from Yorkshire met Alan Silson and Terry Uttley, with whom he became world-famous as Smokie in 1975. Completed by Pete Spencer, 17 of the band's singles made it to the Top 10 in Germany over the following years.

Successful with Smokie and solo

After Chris Norman had already landed a hit outside the band with his duet "Stumblin' In" with Suzi Quatro at the end of the seventies, he turned his back on Smokie in 1986 and his first solo single "Midnight Lady" spent six weeks in the German charts.

Old hits and new songs

Currently Chris Norman is back with the album "Don't Knock The Rock". And there's everything that makes a good Chris Norman album: rock songs, but also blues and ballads. And live the fans can expect an exciting mixture of old favourites and songs from the new album.
