James Blunt achieved his breakthrough in 2005 with the hit "You're Beautiful" and the album "Back To Bedlam", which became the best-selling album of the decade in his home country and reached position 17 on the list of the best-selling records of the past 60 years. Blunt has sold over 20 million albums and 20 million singles worldwide. He won two Brit Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards and received five Grammy nominations.
The new album
"The Afterlove" was published in March 2017. Blunt's tunes shine in a new and fresh light thanks to the modern pop production of his producer Ryan Tedder, the singer of One Republic. Serenity is James Hillier Blount's (his name in real life) trademark, not least because he has experienced a lot more than his music. He was with KFOR in Kosovo during his military time and has been a strong supporter of the relief organization 'Doctors Without Borders' ever since. He was also a pallbearer for Queen Mum.
