Coronavirus: Several events in Hannover cancelled

On 10 March the Hannover Region Health Authority issued an order prohibiting major events with a size of more than 1000 people, initially until 22 March. 

In Hannover, this may affect the following locations:

• Capitol
• Eilenriedehalle
• NDR (large broadcasting hall)
• Kuppelsaal
• Opera House 
• Pavillon (great hall)
• Swiss Life Hall
• Theater am Aegi
• TUI Arena

Visitors and ticketholders are advised to check dates and events with event promotors and venues.

The following trade fairs and conferences have been postponed or cancelled

Postponed: Halal, March 6 to 8, exhibition grounds, new date: September 11 to 13
Cancelled: DPG Spring Conference, March 8 to 13, Leibniz University
Cancelled: DAGA, March 16 to 19, Hannover Congress Centre
Postponed: Twenty2x, 17-19.3., exhibition grounds, new date: June 23 to 25
