Operational Division of the Lord Mayor

The Operational Division of the Lord Mayor mostly manages tasks that are central for the work of the City's Chief Executive. Hence it comprises the Lord Mayor's staff, the General Policy Division (that coordinates the city's "Hannover 2030" development concept, "Science City Hannover" and the International Affairs section), the Public Relations Department including the New Media subdivision (Internet, social media), the city’s central Events Management Office, the Representation Office, and the Citizens' Office. It also includes the Auditing Office, the Legal Affairs Division, and the Herrenhausen Gardens including their events' programme.
