Common Ground

While combining their skills into rousing, highly energetic show, the six artistes of Common Ground also shift the boundaries of circus, bringing equal verve to their musical instruments and their unusual scenery. For everything on stage comes out of differently sized wooden boxes, which turn into a constantly changing stage set.  

All the elements on stage work together as a single, easily understandable image: how can we live together in our uncertain world? How broad is our common basis, how numerous are the intersections, how important the differences? In the circus and in everyday life, on the flying trapeze, on a partner’s hands, on the vertical lines of a mast. The artistes challenge and strengthen each other. The share both their artistic vision and their understanding of community with the audience.  

Common Ground is full of acrobatics and positive energy, excitement and humour, a spectacle for people of all ages. At the KunstFestSpiele it will be presented as an open-air show in the Ehrenhof in front Schloss Herrenhausen.
